Regenerative blowers are compact, oil-free centrifugal machines that produce continuous airflow and moderate pressure for vacuum and pressure applications. Used in aeration, pneumatic conveying, vacuum holding, drying and packaging, they offer quiet operation, low maintenance and long life. Select by required flow (CFM), pressure/vacuum (inHg or mbar), RPM, inlet/outlet size and motor specs; filtration, silencers and vibration mounts improve performance in dusty or humid environments.
Confirm model and performance curves match your needs, inspect impeller and housing for wear, check shaft play and bearings, verify motor condition and voltage, ask for run-time hours and service history, and request an operational test if possible.
Secure and crate the blower to prevent movement, protect inlet/outlet flanges, lock or immobilize rotating parts, label fragile electrical components, insure the shipment, and use a carrier experienced with industrial rotating equipment.
Keep inlet filters clean, monitor bearing temperature and vibration, check belts or couplings, inspect seals and mounting hardware, follow manufacturer service intervals for bearings and lubrication, and replace worn parts promptly.
