Overview

L-sealers are semi-automatic shrink-wrapping machines that cut and seal film in an L-shaped motion to produce neat, tamper-resistant packages. When paired with a shrink tunnel or hot-air source they create tight, professional wraps for boxes, multipacks and irregular shapes at medium throughput. Common in warehouses and light manufacturing, L-sealers offer good film economy, easy operator control and straightforward maintenance.

FAQ

What should I check when buying a used L-sealer?

Inspect the sealing bar, Teflon/coating, cutter condition, conveyor and tunnel wear, electrical controls, and presence of spare parts. Ask for run-time, maintenance records, and a live demonstration if possible.

How should an L-sealer be prepared and shipped?

Disconnect power, secure or remove loose parts, protect the sealing area and film rollers, brace the conveyor and tunnel, and crating on a pallet. Use a carrier experienced with packaging machinery and insure the load.
