What is a Thermal Fluid Oil Heater?
A Thermal Fluid Oil Heater, or an oil heater, is an apparatus that provides heat to thermal fluids - such as heat transfer oils - at very high temperatures without recourse to high-pressure systems. Industrial applications involving such heaters are normally aimed at being able to maintain a constant and well-controlled source of heat. The heated thermal oil circulates in a completely closed-loop system, transferring the heat to the various parts of a process or machinery.
Basically, the Thermal fluid oil heaters operate on the principle of combustion; the fuel-natural gas or diesel-is burnt with the only motive to produce heat. This so produced heat is further transferred to the thermal fluid inside the coils of the heater. The fluid heated is circulated through the system where it releases heat, and after cooling down again returns back to the heater to be heated.
