Minimum Quantity Lubrication MDA-DL
The MDA lubrication system is a low-pressure system developed by Dynacut with a coaxial spray nozzle for mist-free coolant application. The double nozzle with offset mixing chamber allows the use with magnetic holders. The system is completely made of aluminum. The coolant tank is pressurized by a pressure regulating valve to between 0.3 and 1.5 bar, depending on the viscosity of the coolant. This ensures that, after the compressed air supply is switched on, the lubricant and the blowing air are fed separately at different pressures to the nozzle outlet, where the finest coolant droplets are forced into the air stream at the nozzle tip. The volume of the air flow at the nozzle tip and thus also the pressure are adjusted by an adjustable needle valve on the nozzle unit. The supply of the cooling medium is also regulated by a needle valve on the nozzle unit.
