Handheld Control Unit for Beamicon2 CNC Controller with Network Connection
With the handheld control unit, the most important functions of the CNC controller, such as positioning the axes in setup mode, setting the workpiece zero point, and starting/stopping the program, can be operated independently of the PC mouse and keyboard.
The handheld control unit features a rotary knob for positioning or setting the feed and speed (feed override), a keypad for selecting functions, an LCD display for displaying coordinates, and an emergency stop button.
In order to supply the power supply, the emergency stop signal, and the network data via a single cable, a so-called "splitter" is required (included with the handwheel), i.e., an adapter that is connected between the hand control unit and the rest of the network.
