Description
The equipment is designed to prepare automatically and in continuous the
polymer solution.
The polyelectrolyte as powder or granules is dosed by a dosing screw and water dissolved by a special device, which consists of:
- a storage hopper of the product
- a motorized dosing screw to obtain a wide range of concentration in the solution
- a dissolving device in PVC.
The dissolving water is continuously injected into the dissolving device, washing
and cleaning all the polyelectrolyte particles so that a perfect mixing of the polymer solution is achieved.
Generally speaking a concentration of 0.2% can be properly mixed with the incoming sludge and this is the preset value, however the solution could be diluted at different concentrations by operating the water solenoid valve and/or
the dosing screw speed.
The tanks volumes and the mixers speed, equiped with radial-axial impeller,
assure a good dissolution of the polyelectrolyte and a perfect ageing of the
solution.
The unit tank is divided into no. 2 sectors: preparation and storage. In the first and second sector there are turbines type high speed mixer.
One or more metering pumps installed on the machine dose the solution in the
sludge feeding pipe. The system operating cycle is completely automatic and set by levels but manual operation is always possible.
