"Specifically designed as wort chillers for the craft brewing industry. Plate heat exchange is the most efficient and sanitary form of wort chilling but CPE heat exchangers can be configured for other applications such as pasteurization and general cooling/heating of dairy, fruit juices and similar food products. The CPE30D-XXD is a heat exchanger for cooling wort from 200°F to 70°F using city water at around 50°F. This heat exchanger is designed so that the discharged water is hot enough to put into your HLT for your next brew. They are designed to cool a batch in approximately 30 minutes.
