They are fully compatible with ORMEC's lines of brushless servomotors, servodrives, and operator interface devices. At the heart of the ORION is an 80x86 main processor. It is interfaced though dual-port RAM "shared memory" to ServoWire or DSP Axis Modules which are controlled by Texas Instruments Digital Signal Processors operating at 80 MHz and 50 MHz respectively.
