Hengelo, NetherlandsVisit Auction Website
Processed glass washing machines clean and dry cut, recycled or container glass in industrial production lines. They remove labels, adhesives, oils, and fine debris using water sprays, brushes, high-pressure jets, ultrasonic systems and drying sections. Machines differ by throughput, glass size, automation and filtration or recirculation options. They’re used in glass processing, bottle recycling and tempering lines where consistent cleanliness is essential for quality, safety and downstream processing.
Check pumps, motors, drive belts, bearings, seals, spray nozzles, conveyor condition, filtration and recirculation systems, heaters and dryers. Look for corrosion, scale, electrical control state and evidence of leaks. Request maintenance records and run the machine with glass to verify cleaning performance and throughput.
Drain all water and chemicals, secure moving parts and conveyors, remove fragile components if possible, and brace the frame. Use certified rigging and a carrier experienced with industrial process equipment. Insure the shipment and prepare a lifting/rigging plan and power compatibility details for the receiving site.
Daily: check water quality, nozzle flow, belts, and filters. Weekly: inspect pumps, bearings, seals and electrical panels. Replace worn nozzles, seals and filter media as needed. Annually: perform full service—calibrate controls, inspect welds, test heaters and replace wear parts. Follow the manufacturer’s manual and use correct chemicals.
