Inspect the bowl and conveyor for corrosion, scoring, or grooves; check bearings, seals, and gearbox for leaks or noise; verify alignment and run-out; request test-run video under load if possible.

Note overall weight, dimensions, and lifting points. Large machines often require partial disassembly (bowl removal, skid lifting) and specialized crating. Arrange transport with heavy-equipment haulers and plan for inland lifting equipment at delivery.

Common wear parts include scroll flights, wear plates, feed zones, and seals. Replacement intervals depend on abrasiveness and duty but expect inspections quarterly and parts replacement from months to a few years under heavy service.

Installation includes proper foundation or skid securing, electrical and drive hookups, alignment, lubrication setup, controlled test runs with feed, fine-tuning differential speed and pond level, and operator training.
